Green Beans and Bacon

Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a pot and cook the green beans for about 4-5 minutes, then transfer them to cold iced water to stop cooking.
- 2. Drain the green beans and set aside.
- 3. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium-high heat until crispy, about 6-7 minutes.
- 4. Remove excess bacon grease, leaving 2-3 tablespoons in the pan.
- 5. Add sliced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes.
- 6. Add the cooked green beans and creole seasoning, stirring for 3-5 minutes.
- 7. Remove from heat and top with parmesan cheese if desired.
