Ingredients

The green beans

  • 1 ½ pounds green beans

The balsamic garlic butter

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

The topping

  • ¼ cup sliced or slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, balsamic vinegar, and minced garlic in a small dish.
  2. Preheat the griddle to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F) and oil it well.
  3. Add the green beans in a single layer and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the beans, stirring occasionally, for 6 minutes.
  5. Dot the balsamic garlic butter on top of the beans and cook for another 2 minutes or until tender.
  6. Top with slivered almonds and serve.
