Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Roast cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 20-25 minutes.
- Sauté diced onion in olive oil until soft, then add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic, herbs, tomatoes, and tomato paste; simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and sugar, then stir in cream.
- Layer half of the cauliflower, sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and Parmesan in a greased casserole dish.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving with fresh herbs and red pepper flakes.
