Ingredients

  • ¼ cup salted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • teaspoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • cup quick-cooking oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and peanut butter, and beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolk, milk, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and oats until a sticky dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the tops look set.
  7. Cool on the baking tray for at least 10 minutes before serving.
