Instructions
- Whisk the heavy cream, wine, cocoa powder, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Simmer for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate, butter, and salt.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before using as a thin ganache.
- For a thicker consistency to frost cakes, refrigerate for a few hours.
- Store leftover ganache in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
