Ingredients

The broccoli

  • 1 pound broccoli, cut into 2" florets

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper

The cheese (optional)

  • 2 ounces fresh Parmesan cheese, grated or vegan Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the broccoli is crisp-tender and lightly browned.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving warm.
