Instructions
- Combine panko breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, and finely chopped shallots in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add egg, ground beef, grated garlic, mustard powder, kosher salt, and pepper to the panko mixture and mix well. Form into 4 oval patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and cook sliced shallots until softened. Add mushrooms and salt, cooking until mushrooms are browned.
- Stir in flour to coat shallots and mushrooms, then gradually add chicken broth, lemon juice, thyme, mustard powder, and pepper. Simmer until sauce is reduced.
- Add the patties to the sauce and simmer until heated through and sauce thickens. Serve topped with chopped parsley.
