Ingredients

The base

  • cup dark molasses
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves

The liquid

  • 2 cups milk

The oats

  • 2 ½ cups old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the molasses, brown sugar, eggs, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
  3. Whisk in the milk until well combined.
  4. Stir in the oats.
  5. Coat an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick spray and pour the oat mixture in.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes or until the center is firm.
