Ingredients

Cauliflower Wings

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup 1:1 gluten free baking flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste garnish (carrot sticks, celery sticks, chopped green onions, ranch dressing)

Honey BBQ Sauce

  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Make the Honey BBQ sauce by combining BBQ sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, and sriracha in a saucepan and simmering.
  2. Prepare the dairy-free buttermilk by mixing almond milk and apple cider vinegar and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix gluten-free baking flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried parsley, and black pepper. Add the almond milk mixture and whisk until smooth.
  4. Coat cauliflower florets with the batter in a large bowl, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and cook half of the cauliflower for 7 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until browned.
  6. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining cauliflower.
  7. Toss the cooked cauliflower with the BBQ sauce until fully coated and serve immediately.
