Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup white wine vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons ground mustard
  • 4 egg yolks egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Set a strainer over a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer while stirring often.
  4. Once it simmers, pour it through the strainer into the bowl.
  5. Let it cool, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
