Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225°F.
- Combine all rub ingredients in a small bowl.
- Brush the chicken breasts with avocado oil on both sides.
- Season the chicken liberally with the rub on both sides.
- Place the chicken in the smoker and cook for 2-3 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 150°F for 5 minutes.
- If desired, brush BBQ sauce on the chicken when it reaches 140°F.
- Remove the chicken from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
