Instructions
- Prepare the crust by blending flour, butter, sugar, and salt in a food processor, then add ice water until crumbly.
- Shape the dough into a ball, flatten it, wrap it, and chill for at least an hour.
- For the filling, cook diced apples with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until soft.
- Rest the dough at room temperature, then roll it out and cut into circles.
- Fill each circle with the apple filling, seal the edges with a fork, and chill again.
- Preheat the oven, brush the pies with egg wash, and bake until golden brown.
