Grape Jam

Ingredients

  • 14 cups grapes
  • 4 cups grape juice/pulp
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 to 1.5 tsp agar powder

Instructions

  1. Add grapes to a large pot and simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes, mashing frequently.
  2. Let the mixture cool and then pour it into a strainer over a large mixing bowl to extract the juice and pulp.
  3. Return the juice and pulp to the pot and add honey and lemon juice.
  4. Simmer for about 1 hour until the liquid reduces by half.
  5. Add agar powder and whisk while simmering for about one minute.
  6. Store the jam in mason jars in the fridge.
