Glazed Carrots

The carrots

The cooking liquid

The glaze

Instructions
- Pour vegetable broth into a skillet and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced carrots and season with salt, then cover and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes until nearly tender.
- Drain excess liquid from the skillet.
- Add brown sugar and butter to the carrots, toss to combine, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning with more salt and sprinkle with black pepper and parsley before serving warm.
