Ingredients

The carrots

  • lbs whole carrots

The glaze

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the carrots, then place them in a large pan with 1¼ cups of water.
  2. Bring the carrots to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain off any excess water.
  4. Add butter, honey, and salt to the pan and stir to coat the carrots.
  5. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until a glaze forms.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley if desired, then serve immediately.
