Instructions
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a small bowl and place shrimp in a ziplock bag with the marinade for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and broth until smooth.
- Sauté garlic in sesame oil for 1 minute, then add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sweet chili sauce. Bring to a light boil.
- Whisk in the cornstarch mixture until the sauce thickens and set aside.
- Assemble skewers by alternating broccoli, marinated shrimp, red pepper, and onion.
- Brush skewers with finishing sauce and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, applying more sauce while cooking.
- Serve skewers over Jasmine rice or your preferred grain.
