Instructions
- Prepare the tangzhong by mixing bread flour and water in a saucepan, then heat until it becomes paste-like.
- Remove from heat when the mixture reaches 149°F (65°C) and let it cool.
- In a mixer, combine wet ingredients, salt, sugar, dry ingredients, and yeast, mixing until a dough forms.
- Slowly incorporate butter into the dough until it is no longer sticky, then knead until passing the windowpane test.
- Shape the dough into a round, place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 9 portions, shape into balls, and let them rest before rolling into logs.
- Preheat the oven and prepare an egg wash, then brush it on the dough, sprinkle with cheese and parsley, and bake.
