Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place sliced apples in a 2-quart baking dish and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine almond flour, flaxmeal, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.
- Mix in palm shortening, honey, and vanilla extract.
- Work the mixture with your hands until it forms a dough.
- Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
- Sprinkle the dough over the chopped apples in the baking dish.
- Cover and bake for 60-75 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool uncovered before serving.
