Boozy Grilled Churro French Toast

The bread

organic stale day old sourdough bread or 2 French baguettes
The milk mixture

whole milk

pure vanilla extract

triple sec

The egg mixture

sugar (coconut sugar would be a healthier option)

Instructions
- Mix the milk, vanilla, triple sec, and orange zest.
- In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs.
- Slice the bread into ¾” thick slices.
- Soak the bread in the milk mixture for about 8-10 minutes.
- Heat your griddle to medium-high and add coconut oil.
- After soaking, gently dip the bread into the egg mixture.
- Fry the bread on the griddle until golden brown on both sides.
- Line a plate with paper towels and place the fried bread on it.
- Combine cinnamon and sugar, then dip each piece of bread into the mixture.
- Serve with honey or maple syrup.
