Instructions
- Soak 1 cup of steel cut oats in 2 cups of water for 6 hours or overnight.
- The next day, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes until the oats are tender.
- Stir in flaxseed meal, sweetener, and cinnamon, adding dairy-free milk if desired for creaminess.
- Serve in bowls and top with fruit compote, fresh fruit, nut butter, and hemp seeds as desired.
