Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Slice the sweet potatoes into ¼-inch thick rounds, making roughly 24 slices, and arrange them on the baking sheets.
- Bake the sweet potato slices for about 20 to 25 minutes until tender.
- While the sweet potatoes are baking, combine the ground beef, lentils, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Scoop the mixture using a ¼ cup and flatten it into slider-sized patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and spray with cooking oil.
- Cook the burger patties in batches, flipping them after 3 to 4 minutes until fully cooked.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a burger patty on a sweet potato slice and adding your favorite toppings.
