Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipped cream, chilled
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar or powdered sugar
  • ΒΌ tsp vanilla (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill a mixing bowl and beater blades in the freezer for 5 minutes or the fridge for 15 minutes.
  2. Pour cream into the chilled bowl, add sugar and vanilla if using.
  3. Whip mixture on medium-low speed until slightly thickened, about 1 minute.
  4. Increase to high speed and whip until stiff peaks form, about 1 minute.
  5. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a couple of hours.
