Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs

  • ¼ cup raw onions, finely chopped
  • 6 oz bite-sized broccoli florets (steamed until crisp-tender)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a quiche plate with baking spray.
  2. Cook and crumble the bacon, and steam the broccoli until crisp-tender.
  3. Finely dice the onions.
  4. Layer the ingredients in the quiche plate starting with cheese, followed by broccoli, onion, and bacon, repeating the layers and finishing with cheese.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs, heavy cream, almond milk (or water), salt, and pepper until frothy.
  6. Pour the custard over the layered ingredients.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the quiche is set and the top is browned.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
