Easy Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Instructions
- Wash and clean the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into quarters.
- Soak the cut potatoes in cool water.
- Drain the potatoes and place them in a saucepan with cold water covering them by one inch.
- Add a dash of salt and cover the pan.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Boil the sweet potatoes for 15 to 20 minutes until fork tender.
- Drain the potatoes and transfer them to a large bowl.
- Add the butter and heavy cream to the bowl.
- Using an electric mixer, whip the potatoes, butter, and cream together until smooth.
- Mix in the brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon until fluffy.
- Adjust consistency with milk if necessary.
- Top with a pat of butter and serve.
