Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg white and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll spoonfuls of dough in powdered sugar to coat and form balls.
- Flatten each dough ball to about ½-inch thick on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until set and lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat softened butter and mix in powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Frost the cooled cookies and top with sprinkles.
