Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 pieces jalapenos
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 2 cups pimento cheese
  • 4 pieces onion rolls

Instructions

  1. Prepare or have pimento cheese ready.
  2. Preheat the grill to 350°F for direct heat.
  3. Core and seed the jalapenos, then chop them into ¼ inch slices and sauté in olive oil.
  4. Microwave the bacon strips until crispy, about 3 minutes.
  5. Form the ground beef into 4 patties, making an indentation in the center of each.
  6. Grill the burgers until they reach an internal temperature of 140°F for medium doneness.
  7. Let the burgers rest for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Toast the buns on the grill while the burgers rest.
  9. Assemble the burgers with pimento cheese, bacon, and jalapenos.
