Asian Brined Pork Chops

The pork chops

Instructions
- Season the pork chops lightly with salt.
- Mix all brine ingredients in a container that fits the pork chops.
- Marinate the pork chops in the brine for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Remove the pork chops from the brine and let them come to room temperature, then pat dry.
- Heat cooking oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pan-fry the pork chops for about 4–5 minutes on each side.
- Wrap the pork chops in foil and let them rest for 8–10 minutes before serving.
