Ingredients

The donuts

  • cups self-rising flour
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup milk

The glaze

  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Sift the self-rising flour into a mixing bowl and add the other donut ingredients, mixing until a thick dough forms.
  3. Transfer the batter to a ziplock bag, cut off a corner, and pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity without overfilling.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until done and a skewer comes out clean.
  5. Cool the donuts in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  6. Prepare the glaze by mixing the confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth, then dip each cooled donut in the glaze.
