Instructions
- Combine warm water and milk in a bowl.
- Whisk in sugar and then yeast, letting it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Stir in olive oil and salt.
- Mix in flour until a shaggy dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1½ hours.
- Divide dough into 6 equal pieces and shape into circles, resting them covered for 1 hour.
- Roll each dough piece into a 5-inch circle.
- Heat a skillet over high heat, then cook each circle for 30 seconds on each side, adding olive oil, until golden brown and puffed.
