Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 2 Tablespoons silken tofu
  • 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 Tablespoon sucanat or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1 banana banana

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients except the bread until smooth.
  2. Preheat a skillet with oil, ensuring it's non-stick.
  3. Dip the bread slices into the batter mixture.
  4. Place the dipped bread onto the skillet.
  5. Cook until both sides are browned.
  6. Serve with fruit and maple syrup if desired.
