Instructions
- Mash the chickpeas in a medium bowl, leaving some pieces intact.
- In another bowl, mash the avocados with lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until mostly smooth.
- Combine the mashed chickpeas, celery, pickle, capers, and chives into the avocado mixture.
- Fold everything together gently and check for seasoning.
- Serve the salad in lettuce wraps or between slices of bread.
