Perfect Air Fryer Tofu

block extra-firm tofu
The marinade

toasted sesame seed oil

tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
The coating (optional)

arrowroot starch
Instructions
- Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and press out moisture using a towel and a heavy object for at least 10 minutes.
- Mix the toasted sesame oil and tamari in a small bowl.
- Toss the pressed tofu with the sauce in a large bowl.
- Sprinkle arrowroot starch over the tofu and mix until evenly coated.
- Arrange the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 375ºF for 15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Serve warm or add to salads or main dishes.
