Ingredients

The wings

  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • olive oil

The dry rub

  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar or sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to 225 degrees.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry and sprinkle the dry rub evenly over them.
  3. Coat the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the wings on the smoker and smoke for 2 hours.
  5. After 2 hours, increase the temperature to 350 degrees and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove the wings and let them cool before serving.
