Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly coat a doughnut pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, poppy seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the egg, buttermilk, yogurt, oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
- Dust the doughnut pan with 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar and fill each space ⅔ full with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, then cool for five minutes before removing from the pan.
- Dust with the remaining powdered sugar before serving.
