Ingredients

The crust

  • 1 lb fresh pizza dough
  • cup pastry flour

The sauce

  • ½ cup Muir Glen Organic Pizza Sauce

The chicken mixture

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ¼ cup Italian seasoning
  • ½ tbsp parsley flakes

The toppings

  • ¼ cup chopped black olives
  • 8 oz Monterey Jack cheese block, cubed
  • 12 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Spread pastry flour on the countertop and shape the fresh dough into a circle, rolling it to a diameter of 13 inches.
  2. Mix ground chicken and Italian seasoning in a bowl, then cook the mixture in a pan until partially cooked.
  3. Lightly oil a cast iron skillet, add the rolled dough, and fold the excess dough inside the skillet's edge.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then add half of the cubed Monterey cheese and half of the cooked chicken.
  5. Layer the remaining Monterey cheese, more chicken, shredded mozzarella, black olives, and parsley flakes on top.
  6. Bake in the oven at 400°F for 18 minutes, then allow to cool before serving.
