Instructions
- Combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
- Mix the warm water and vegetable oil, then gradually add it to the flour mixture until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about a minute, then shape it into a ball and let it rest covered for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape each into a ball, letting them rest for another 10 minutes.
- Roll each ball into a 6-inch circle, dusting with flour as needed, and stack them.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each tortilla until blistered and slightly golden on both sides.
- Stack the cooked tortillas on a plate covered with a dry towel to keep them warm.
