Ingredients

The bread

The cinnamon sugar topping

  • cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix the bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the banana mixture with the dry ingredients without over mixing.
  5. Fold in the cinnamon chips gently.
  6. Prepare the cinnamon sugar topping by mixing sugar and cinnamon in a small dish.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping on top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
