Slow Cooker Bolognese Sauce

Instructions
- Cook bacon in a pan over medium-high heat until crispy, about 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the bacon and drain excess grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the pan.
- Add ground beef to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook while breaking it into small pieces for 4-5 minutes.
- Add diced onion and carrot to the pan and cook for another 4-5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional 30 seconds.
- Transfer the bacon, beef, and vegetable mixture to a slow cooker.
- Pour in marinara sauce and tomato sauce, stirring to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Uncover, stir the sauce, and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
