Instructions
- Toast the pecans in the oven at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until fragrant, then chop them.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with garlic powder, salt, and cayenne until smooth.
- Stir in the crushed pineapple, chopped red bell pepper, and minced green onions.
- Add half of the chopped pecans to the mixture.
- Shape the mixture into a mound using plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Coat the chilled cheese ball with the remaining pecans and transfer it to a serving plate.
- Serve with crackers or baguette slices, garnished with additional green onions.
