Ingredients

The marinade

  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chiffonade (or 1 ½ teaspoon dried basil)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, minced (or 1 ½ teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, minced (or 1 ½ teaspoon dried oregano)
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

The cheese

  • 1 8-ounce package feta cheese, cut into ¼ inch sized pieces

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, basil, thyme, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the feta cheese and toss to combine.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
