Smoky & Spicy Nut, Sesame, and Coconut ‘Bacon’ Bar Nuts

The seasoning mixture

coconut aminos or low-sodium tamari

pure maple syrup

liquid smoke

fine-grain sea salt or pink Himalayan salt

smoked paprika

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cashews, almonds, coconut, and sesame seeds.
- In a small bowl, mix together the coconut aminos (or tamari), maple syrup, liquid smoke, salt, paprika, and cayenne until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture over the nuts and stir until they are thoroughly coated.
- Spread the nut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in a thin layer.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then stir and bake for another 10 minutes or until the coconut flakes are golden.
- Cool on the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a glass jar for storage.
