Ingredients

Turkey Burger

  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • cup finely diced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Burger Fixings

  • 6–8 units buns
  • 12 leaves lettuce
  • 6–8 slices vine ripe tomatoes
  • 6–8 slices red onion
  • to taste pickles
  • to taste condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, almond flour, dried parsley, red onion, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients by hand and form into 6-8 patties.
  4. Season the patties with salt.
  5. Grill the patties for 4-6 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Toast the buns on the grill until warm and slightly charred.
  7. Assemble the burgers by adding condiments to the bottom bun, placing the turkey patty on top, adding burger fixings, and topping with the top bun.
