Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons mashed banana
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tablespoon butter, melted

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons white whole wheat flour
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Spray a medium/large mug or bowl with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Add the mashed banana, egg, and melted butter to the mug and whisk together.
  3. Mix in the remaining dry ingredients until combined.
  4. For the microwave method, cook on high for 60-90 seconds.
  5. For the oven method, bake at 350ºF for 22-25 minutes.
  6. Enjoy your mug cake immediately after cooking.
