Instructions
- Whisk yeast, honey, and lukewarm water in a bowl and let it sit until foamy.
- Mix in flour and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
- Coat a bowl with olive oil, transfer dough, and cover to chill until doubled in size.
- Butter a baking pan and pour olive oil into the center.
- Deflate and shape the dough into a ball, then transfer to the prepared pan.
- Let the dough rise in a warm spot until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and prepare the dough for baking.
- Dimple the dough, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with sea salt before baking.
- Bake until golden brown, about 20–30 minutes.
- Melt butter and sauté grated garlic, then brush over the baked focaccia before serving.
