Easy Air Fryer Crab Fried Rice

Ingredients

The rice and seafood

  • 6 oz lump crab meat
  • 2 packets Ready Rice Brown Rice

The vegetables and seasonings

  • ½ medium red onion, chopped
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper
  • cilantro (optional)

The eggs

  • 2 medium eggs, scrambled and cooked

Instructions

  1. Cook the brown rice and let it cool in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to the bottom of the push pan.
  3. Combine the cold rice, garlic, red onions, green onions, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl, then drizzle with remaining sesame oil and stir.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the push pan and place it in the air fryer.
  5. Set the air fryer to 375°F and cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Season the crab with paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Remove the push pan, add the crab, fish sauce, and soy sauce to the rice, and mix well.
  8. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Remove the rice and mix in the scrambled eggs.
  10. Sprinkle with cilantro before serving.
