M&M Oreo Cookie Bars

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil, then spray with cooking spray.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and let it sit for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the egg, then add the brown sugar and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour one-third of the batter into the prepared pan, then layer the Oreos on top.
- Pour the remaining batter over the Oreos and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the M&Ms on top and lightly press them down.
- Bake for 20 to 22 minutes until the top is set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the bars cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
