Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and nonstick spray.
- Slice the acorn squash in half and scoop out the seeds.
- Place the squash cut-side down on a cutting board and slice into 1-1.5 inch slices.
- Arrange the slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Brush the top of each slice with half of the melted butter and sprinkle with half of the brown sugar and spices.
- Bake for about 40 minutes, flipping halfway through and brushing with remaining butter and spices.
- Garnish with pecans and additional brown sugar if desired before serving.
