Instructions
- Toast the sesame seeds at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes until fragrant and lightly colored.
- Let the toasted seeds cool before handling.
- Place sesame seeds, 2-3 tablespoons of oil, and salt in a high-speed blender.
- Blend starting at low speed, gradually increasing to high for 1-2 minutes until a thick paste forms.
- Add more oil, 1-2 tablespoons at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
- Transfer tahini to a jar or airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
