Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta

The meat

  • 1 pound ground beef

The seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

The toppings

  • 8 ounces pepperoni, diced
  • 26 ounces marinara sauce

The cheese

  • 16 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 5 ounces shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water for 2 minutes less than the package directions, then drain and add to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6 minutes, crumbling it as it cooks.
  3. Add the garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and salt to the beef and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Drain excess grease from the beef and transfer it to the slow cooker with the pasta.
  5. Add the pepperoni and marinara sauce to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  6. Stir in ¾ of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese, cover, and let it melt.
