Ultimate BLT Sandwich with Cheese and Red Onion

Mayonnaise (best quality, like Duke’s or Hellman’s)

Italian Bread (toasted)

Romaine Lettuce

thick cut Bacon (cooked until crispy and cut in half)

thinly sliced Red Onion

grated Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- Slice the tomato into ¼"-½" thick slices and sprinkle with salt and drizzle with olive oil. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Stir black pepper into mayonnaise and set aside.
- Toast the bread slices until crispy and let cool slightly.
- Spread half of the black pepper mayonnaise on two slices of bread.
- Tear romaine lettuce and lay on top of the bottom slice of bread.
- Add half of the tomato slices and the bacon on top of the lettuce.
- On the top slice of bread, add the red onion and cheese, then sandwich together.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
